Updated Traditional Decor is Trending for 2026

Updated traditional decor is making a comeback - though I’d argue it never loses its appeal - and the fancy decor catalogs offer it up for a pretty penny. After a few years volunteering with the high school drama department as an inexperienced, less-than-qualified, makeshift costumer, I developed a renewed interest in repurposing and renewing items of the past, whether they be clothing pieces or decor. These six decor ideas have me on the lookout for some great garage sale or thrift store finds and some new pieces as well.
